Love this hood, very clean and durable. The only thing I dislike is the voice commands. We turned this feature off first thing. The voice command response "Andy" is extremely annoying and will randomly talk and respond during conversation around the hood.

This range hood fits perfectly under my wood hood cover it aesthetically matches my kitchen and functionally does a good job of sucking steam & food odors out the kitchen. The voice feature is an added bonus. I love that I can put the stainless steel filters in the dishwasher. The lights are bright overall five stars for me good purchase. I only wish the hood was a little quieter, but given all of the good features that's easily overlooked. I'm happy I purchased this hood! Thank you!

Product works great! Controls are simple and easy to get to. The voice activation is cool feature as well.

Great insert for my custom hood cabinet. took a minute to review only because I was doing the remodel where this was going. Construction is superior, installation easy (2 person); direct ducted to the outside is truly a game changer. Makes cooking a joy. If mechanically inclined, you can save a lot of money building your own cover/cabinet. Best features and materials compared to others. In photo I still have to install front panel and trim; followed by new paint, doors and drawer fronts to rest of kitchen. Followed by new countertops and backsplash.

I installed as ventless range hood, works great, at 900 CFM , works way better than my old 375 CFM range hood which was useless and made my kitchen and living room greasy. This one actually suctioned the smoke. Only one suggestion, wish it can turn on automatically when it detects smoke, otherwise will be prefect, will definitely purchase again from this brand.

The 900 cfm suction is great! We pan seared some steaks to test it out and it did the job. There's a super cool tech interface too. It really feels like good quality. The packaging is solid too as my cardboard box was damaged but the hood was fine.
It has a 3 prong 120 plug so all I had to do was plug it in the outlet after the installation. Easy.

If I you're handy this thing will be a breeze to install.

Overall I love it SO FAR. It has powerful airflow and it looks impressive! It's not overtly noisy either. I would buy it again.

Installed this in place of an over-the-range microwave because fan on microwave was not adequate. This range hood functions as described and is many times more powerful than the microwave. It is very well built and has nice features that include the gesture controls (wave your hand in front of the controls to turn fan up/down. Had a small issue getting the grease filters into place and thought they were too big. Contacted customer service who promptly assisted. Turns out the diagram and instructions are incorrect. You have to start out angling the filter toward the back and over the grease trap, then angle it forward into the front recess then back down in the rear into the grease trap. Once this was resolved everything has worked brilliantly.

So far so good. It's been installed a week ago and seems to be working well. It's just not as quiet as it claims to be.

The voice control feature is a little odd that I will explain later, but overall this unit works very well.

Lights are bright and easy to use even when you have a lot going on. The controls on the unit are sensitive enough that when using the stove a light touch will accomplish what you are trying to do. The gesture controls are really handy, especially when you have something in or on your hands and they work all the time.

We can a lot, and this draws steam up and out of the stove very well.

Now to the voice activation. You start that with "Hey Andy" and it chirps back "I am here". Commands work pretty well "fan on high" works as expected. What's unnerving is when you are in the other room talking and all of a sudden you hear "I am here" followed in a short time by "goodbye". There's a lot in your house nowadays that listens to you, and at least this one is not connected to the internet, but this happens a lot... Especially when sitting in the same room having a conversation.

Product works well, looks good, and does the job it should. Just a little chatty for a range hood... ;)

This is an awesome range hood! We love that it is hands-free with voice activated commands. It is also very powerful with no cooking smells. Would definitely recommend.

Worked great for me

We waited a spell to write this review so it would cover months of use.

In short order the Voice command system was learned and it works well. The hand pass is pretty functional as it requires close proximity and shorter folk can use a moving paper towel to trigger. I can use all three control systems w/o trouble.

Masnual operation on the touch-screen is fully fully useful, wet or dirty fingers? no matter.

Lightiing is very good - right into the top of the pans and pots and natural light to boot.

Noise is OK - the fan moves a good amount of air and is totally average in that regard as to DB levels.

Materrial is durable and the satin shine is pleasing. 409 on a damp microtowel and all is good as to the cleanup every month.

"Exhuast Filters" are SS of course and are simply smaller versions of what I experienced in many commerical kitchens - they clean up quick and the modular nature of them make easy drop into even a smaller sink.

Happy? YES

This hood works great, we don't like the voice activation because you have to very precise in the wording you use or it doesn't work. Next time I would get the same hood without the voice control

This works perfectly. I built my own range hood cover to match my cabinets, and this insert works perfectly in it. Very powerful, and quiet on the lower speeds. It works with voice or touch buttons. Happy we purchased it.
