Very nice unit. Install should be done by experienced individuals. Installation instructions are adequate but could be better. It is heavy enough to require two people to do the lifting in place, and unfortunately the screws included are a bit on the small side for the weight. I would even recommend using threaded bolts with nuts/lockwashers. Another downside seems that a motor change can only be done from the top of the unit which will require taking it out. Quiet for the amount of air the dual fans are pushing out. Wish the light had a hi/lo/nite lite feature. But the look fits very well with our kitchen

I love the hood vent. Works great, powerful fan, but a bit loud, but if you would like to catch the grease it has to be a but loud. The template was a bit difficult to follow to put up, but managable. You would need at least two people to put it up...

Product is wonderful however installation mechanism needs improvements!

Only have this a short time, but I can say that at this time it works well using the talk feature, the hand wave feature and by pressing the icons. The two lights are sufficiently bright, and the fan is very powerful! I have only used the fan on the first setting, as that was all I needed. I did try out all the fan settings, and the highest one is quite loud, but if you really needed to vent heavy odors (like fish), you could use the high fan setting and I'm sure it would clear the odor in very short time! As far as installation goes, this is a heavy unit, so you need several people to complete the task. Works good, and looks great in my kitchen!

This range hood is underrated. It is one of the best range hood I've seen... Forget about the name brands out there and buy this one instead...It is extremely well built, touch screen and has voice command. It is very responsive too and fan is very strong. From the built quality itself you will think it's priced thousands.

This product is heavier than I imagined! But after we installed it, we were amazed with the voice and gesture control, and the fans are very powerful! Great product!

Range hood looks great!! 4 fan speed are available and it takes away food smell. We can operate the range hood with hand gesture and voice control which is added advantage.value for money and better build quality.

Just wanted to give a little information about why I love this 36''Hood Range:
1) No Hands Needed: It's name is ANDY, you just say Hi Andy, fan on/off, light on/off etc. No, programming or apps to install.
2) No Voice, no problem: Just wave your hand right or left to turn fan On/Off/4 speed levels.
3) If you are like me and Blind in one eye, and only 4'-9'' tall: You have 3 options Voice/Motion/or just push the Button.
4) Got asthma, triggered by aroma like me and need fumes to escape quickly: The air flow suction is amazing, with several ways to install. We installed ours with exterior flow outtake. I also have my espresso machine next to the stove, when steaming several cups of milk for coffee, I turn my fan on and all the steam is gone. That is how powerful the intake fans are and can be adjusted for fan and sound levels.
5) Everyone needs more light: The LED lights are super bright even with a a 36 inch stove, and helps with my blindness to see everything brighter.
6) Pretty and easy to clean: I would also like to say the smoked glass top looks very nice, trending and easy to keep clean. The vents even easier, with big handles to remove, just place in your dishwasher.
7) Ok one advice: It takes 2 people to install, a little Hefty and sturdy with great quality. And the price was definitely worth the quality and technology BRANO designed.

This thing is great, especially if you have your hands busy and you can control it with the voice or hands waving.

Installation was pretty straightforward. We put this in new construction and followed the directions that came with the unit. The lighting is fairly bright. The suction is amazing!! My husband was hooking up the outside vent cover and had me turn it on. He was impressed by the air movement. It made his shirt move lol.
I've had this installed for about a month. I love the way it works and looks! I am very satisfied!

Description: This product is exactly as the selling advertises on the site. I can't determine if the max noise level is 60 decibels but it is reasonable considering the amount of air this hood will move at top speed. At the lowest level I find this to be a quiet unit. The led lighting is sufficient and the buttons are easy to operate. I especially like that the unit is fitted with a plug rather than bare wire. I can't speak to the ease of installation yet but the manual is sufficient in providing directions and specifications for the unit. Overall it has a very sturdy feel and seems to be well constructed. Note that this is an insert and should have a surround hood (some form of cabinetry).

I got the Brano 36''range hood to install in a summer kitchen I'm adding to the back of my home. I'm delighted with the quality of the hood! It looks great and all the components fit together perfectly. I like that it has a 50'' plug-in cord. It was easy to test to make sure everything was working as it should. Be careful of what you have in front of the intake baffles when you test it. On high the blower has very strong suction! The LED's are bright and a neutral color temperature. The hood has mechanical push-button controls which I like, because I won't have to worry about a power surge like I do with electronic controls. The baffles are easy to remove and install. The instruction booklet is clear and complete. I'm installing the hood to vent outside, but there's a charcoal filter included so it can also be configured as a ductless. The assembly/manufacturing of the hood is top notch. I could not be more pleased with it.

I have not yet installed this as I'm still waiting for a few things to get done first in the kitchen. The range looks very well-built and upon trying it the suction is strong, which is the point of a range hood. You can choose the level of suction and even at the highest one the noise wasn't too bad at all. It's a nice looking unit that I can't wait to get installed.

This range hood by Brano is seriously more than I expected to receive at this price point I was looking at Viking and other brands to install but since it is covered behind a wood frame I chose this and I am completely floored at the quality. I have not installed it yet but I did power it up and the suction is great the lights are nice and bright. The three covers are simple to remove and clean when the time comes. You have a choice of direct vent outside or charcoal filtration all hardware is included. I can't wait to get this installed and I will update when it is in. Thank you so much for this item we love it.

When I purchased my current home, I decided to do something crazy.

I ripped out the kitchen down to the wall studs and installed a commercial kitchen (we cook a lot).

This included metals walls, commercial sink and fridge...you name it. But there was one glaring omission: A range hood.

Now I KNOW this is not a commercial unit, but it looks like one! And now I don't have to listen to the sounds of my family wheeze or the fire detector blaring simply because I wanted to sear a steak or hamburger patty.

Installation was a little more complicated in that I did not have a cabinet overhanging my stove, so I went to my local metal shop and had a freestanding brace fabricated to mount to my ceiling. The I set the Range hood in, added some ductwork and an outlet and I was in business.

The hood provided good suction, which is impressive because I have it mounted a little higher than normal. Operation is simple but due to the height of my hood the LED lights are a bit dim. I will try a different bulb to see if that solves the problem. As of now I am very pleased!
