How do I choose the right size range hood?
The hood should be at least as wide as your cooktop. For a standard 30-inch stove, a 30 inch Range hood is perfect. If you have plenty of space or do heavy cooking, upgrading to a 36 inch Range Hood offers wider coverage and better capture efficiency.
What is the difference between Ducted and Ductless?
Ducted hoods vent smoke outside through a pipe, which is the most effective method. Ductless Range Hoods filter the air through charcoal and return it to the kitchen. All Brano hoods are convertible and support both methods.
How much CFM power do I really need?
For everyday cooking, 400-600 CFM is sufficient. However, if you enjoy Asian-style cooking, frying, or searing steaks, we recommend our Side Sucition Range Hood to instantly capture heavy smoke and grease before it spreads.
How high should I install the range hood?
For safety and optimal performance, mount the hood between 24 to 30 inches above the cooktop surface. Installing it too high will reduce suction power, while too low may damage the unit or block your view.
